Great Salt Lake - Final - Lucy Millward

I think that one of the most beautiful places to photograph in Utah is the Great Salt Lake. Because of this, it always amazes me to hear that people who have lived in Utah for a decent amount of time, have never visited it. Just the other day, a friend of mine said that he had never been and he has lived here his entire life. He said it has no appeal to him.

For me, the Great Salt Lake has been a place for picnics and numerous other adventures growing up. Anytime I have free time to go and photograph, I usually end up at some part of the lake. The purpose behind my final project is to show that there is appeal to this unique landscape and that it really is an interesting landscape that you can't find anywhere else.

  2. Amaaazing colors. The sweatshirt photo is so eerie. I love the "fort" photo and the remnants of the train tracks. Amazing and eerie as well.

  3. Go UTAH! I like your idea because Utah does rock, all you have to do it leave your house. The kayaking picture is awesome because the people are so small and it shows the vastness of Utah and the GSL.

  5. I really love the colors here, as well as the solitude. It seems like you picked the perfect time of day for some of these photos
