These photos were taken in Whistler, British Canada. While there, I constantly chuckled to myself as I would watch numerous people on the village stroll who had dogs with them. At an international ski resort, it wasn't uncommon to see many different people with interesting clothing or hair styles. But the dogs people had with them were even more unique. Everyone who saw me taking photos of them and their dog(s), were more than happy to stop and tell me all about their "significant other."
Cute! I love them all! I also love how you cut all the heads off all of the people. It really ties them all together in a different way. Good job.
ReplyDeleteI love this essay, mostly because I really love dogs. I like how all the dogs seem to be doing their own thing, ignoring or leading the humans in the picture. That part is reinforced by how you cut off the heads of all the people, making them more like props for photos of dogs.
ReplyDeleteI like the triangles.
ReplyDeleteReally good. I am a dog lover so I really liked this project. I liked that you cut the heads off, it made you focus on the dogs.
ReplyDeletebest two things about this project: the dogs and the fact that you cut the people's heads off. my favorite picture is the first one with the three guys' backs turned to you. the guy in the middle looks like he went to festival of colors.
ReplyDeletedogs are great to look at. great photos and i really like the ones where the leashes make diagonal lines and triangles. cool idea
ReplyDeleteWow, I love dogs. My favorite picture is the Brittany. I love that the people face one way and the dog faces the other, and then the snow just makes it look so great.
ReplyDeleteI like how everything in each photo brings our focus to nothing but the dogs.
ReplyDeleteI want that Boston. great shots. I like the shapes that are made because of how you composed it. And I love how you didn't include the owners faces, but you can get an idea of what type of person they are by their clothes and how their personality kind of goes with the dog's look.
ReplyDeleteAS a dog person, I love these pictures. Dogs mimic their owners, so each one of these dogs says something about the people. Great job.
