Aimer La Ville

  1. I'm definitely one of those who needs to see the beauty in Provo more often than I do. I think all of the photos are pretty strong compositionally, but the one behind the RB doesn't say much to me. Like we said in class, it could probably be improved by being putting in black and white. I really love the lines of the first photo- even the lights on the ceiling get in on the action. While the Gandolfo's truck is my favorite because of the colors and crop, I don't know if it quite fits in this essay since the other photos are all of architectural elements.

  2. I really like the first and the last images! Both of them have cool reflections and lighting, and they are both things we walk past all the time but never really take the time to appreciate. Both of these pictures kind of frame themselves with the building and create nice lines.

  3. I like the first and the third images. The second photo is just too exposed in the background. I like the photo of the stairs, but I do wonder what it would look like not in black and white. I think it would probably still be a good photo, and the color would better maintain continuity.

  4. I think the idea behind this project is really well thought of and I feel like you actually put thought into it which I appreciate. I like the strong colors in the first and third images and the strong lines that are in all the photos. I wonder though what the photos would have looked like if they were all in black in white, if that would have helped the essay in that sense.
