A people watcher by nature, I love to watch how people interact with others or their surroundings. What does a person do when they think no one is watching? What are the precious moments we miss, the ironic situations we pass by, or the beauties of humanity we overlook?
With camera in hand, I strolled across Temple Square without a destination, without a schedule. I finally experienced the life of Temple Square.

great idea! its true that we see a lot of places and don't really see them until the circumstances are just right... if I could make a small technical suggestion though, try taking your subject out of the middle of the pictures, it creates interest and will make a difference even though they really are good photos already. :) great project!
ReplyDeleteTemple Square is a great place to take photos because there is so much going on that its impossible to take a bad photo. Maybe you could photoshop the photos to even out some of the lighting. Interesting people that you found here.
ReplyDeleteI think it's interesting, as an outsider myself, looking at Temple Square, and how other people interact with it.
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed that you found the people you did, like the workers, protestors, etc.
No suggestions, I quite like it.
This is great street photography, this seems Olivier-trained. I like the interesting perspective of such a photographed place!
ReplyDeleteThe text in the essay really enhances the images. The photos show personality and tell a story. Nice work
ReplyDeleteI like how you found unusual people to photograph at Temple Square, and I think you did a great job showing the feel of the area.
