As I tried to come up with an idea throughout the semester for my final project, the rest of the commitments in my busy schedule kept finding reasons for me to push the brainstorming off. It was not until I was in a conversation with my husband about just how busy I am and how unhappy that was starting to make me that I settled on an idea. He had suggested that I slow down and learn to enjoy the small and simple things in life, and just like that I realized what a great opportunity this assignment could be for me. In an attempt to do just what my husband suggested, I decided to take time out of that busy schedule of mine to appreciate the small details in the things that I overlook on a regular basis. These are some of the details that stuck out most to me.
i love the textures and the colors. these photos have their own little story!
ReplyDeleteI Love this project... you exemplify the quote, beauty is in the details! :) its almost a puzzle to see what its actually a picture of, but not really because the details could be of anything, they just happen to be taken from one specific sample...
ReplyDeleteAmazing. Easily the best project I've seen yet from the FInal Projects. I think your juxtaposition of the wide-field photo and the close-up is amazing, because I really *wanted* to find what part you took a picture of.
ReplyDeleteI love graphic pictures like this. The aesthetics really appeal to me and I love that you included the larger pictures with them.
ReplyDeleteSome of these are just really, really beautiful. You must have an amazing eye to pick out those colors and composition.
ReplyDeleteThis is great, these images have a great graphic quality.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. I love that you inset the full photo within the close up. The composition of both are excellent. great job!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are really good!
ReplyDeleteThese are my favorite photos I've seen so far. Great attention to beautiful details we usually miss. It makes a great statement about not judging something from a few imperfections. You have to see the big picture. The colors are amazing
ReplyDeleteI really like this one and I love the inset photos that were included. Very cool!
