It's the Small Details That Add Character

As I tried to come up with an idea throughout the semester for my final project, the rest of the commitments in my busy schedule kept finding reasons for me to push the brainstorming off. It was not until I was in a conversation with my husband about just how busy I am and how unhappy that was starting to make me that I settled on an idea. He had suggested that I slow down and learn to enjoy the small and simple things in life, and just like that I realized what a great opportunity this assignment could be for me. In an attempt to do just what my husband suggested, I decided to take time out of that busy schedule of mine to appreciate the small details in the things that I overlook on a regular basis. These are some of the details that stuck out most to me.

  2. I Love this project... you exemplify the quote, beauty is in the details! :) its almost a puzzle to see what its actually a picture of, but not really because the details could be of anything, they just happen to be taken from one specific sample...

  3. Amazing. Easily the best project I've seen yet from the FInal Projects. I think your juxtaposition of the wide-field photo and the close-up is amazing, because I really *wanted* to find what part you took a picture of.
